Find Your Spiritual Path

In addition to psychotherapy, I also offer spiritual direction which I would describe as a process of dialogue: sitting together, listening and exploring around the question of what it means to be in relationship with “that which lies beyond all names” – God, the Divine, Spirit, the Ground of All Being, Source.  


In 2010, I received certification as a spiritual director from the Haden Institute in Hendersonville, North Carolina. The organization has its roots in the Christian tradition and also honors the wisdom found in all enduring religions and faiths.


I believe that there are many paths we can take on our spiritual journey, and that no one path is particularly better or truer than others. I especially enjoy working with people who consider themselves outsiders in relation to organized religion but still seek a way to connect with Spirit.


There are many forms of spiritual practice that go beyond what traditional religion has offered us. These include:

  • Jungian Dream Work
  • Centering Prayer
  • Meditation
  • Lectio and Visio Divina
  • Walking the Labyrinth
  • Poetry Writing
  • Working With Mandalas and Other Images
  • Studying the Mystical and Wisdom Veins of All Faith Traditions

I serve as a faculty member at the Metagem Institute, a nonprofit organization that offers a certification program in spiritual direction. We also facilitate workshops and retreats on contemplative and integrative practices.
